This guide will walk you through the steps to easily and safely transfer your ETH from the Ethereum network to the Base using Superbridge, Coinbase’s recommended bridging solution.
Step 1: Visit Superbridge and Connect Your Wallet
Open your web browser and navigate to superbridge.app/base.
Connect your Burner via WalletConnect and ensure it's connected to the Ethereum network.
Step 2: Verify Networks and Enter Transfer Details
While this guide focuses on ETH, you can also select other tokens that are in your wallet, such as USDC, DAI, or other supported assets. Simply click on the token selector and choose the token you’d like to bridge.
In the Superbridge interface, confirm that you are sending from Ethereum to Base.
Input the amount of ETH you wish to bridge.
Double-check that the receiving address on Base is correct.
Review the details, such as the amount to be received on Base, transfer time, and network fees.
Click the DEPOSIT button to continue.
Step 3. Confirm and Initiate the Transfer
Review the transfer details and check all the required boxes to confirm your understanding.
Click the INITIATE DEPOSIT button to begin the transfer.
Important Tips:
Only transfer ETH to the correct Base address. Transferring to the wrong address could result in a loss of funds.
Be mindful of network fees and transaction times. The interface will provide an estimate, but these may vary depending on network congestion.
