Where is the NFC Reader on my phone?

Find the NFC reader location on your phone to ensure successful taps with your Burner card.

Updated over a week ago

When tapping your phone to a Burner, it’s important to know where your phone’s NFC reader is located. The placement varies depending on the brand and model. Below is a quick reference guide to help you find the right spot.

Note: Individual models may vary slightly from the general placement shown here. When in doubt, try a quick Google search: “[Your phone model] NFC reader location”

Tips:

  • Remove thick phone cases or metal accessories when tapping.

  • Don’t remove your phone too quickly. Hold it in place for a moment to ensure the NFC connection has time to register.

  • Gently move your phone around if the card isn’t recognized immediately—small adjustments can help.

  • If you’re having trouble, reboot your phone and try again.
